TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Terms & Conditions of Trade and Warranty Policy are made in accordance with Korean Parts King Nz Ltd standard Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policy (Complete copy is available by request from buyer is available on our website www.koreanpartsking.co.nz/policy

Conditions of sale:

1. Any damage to goods received must be notified within 3 business day.
2. Goods must be returned within 14 days of the invoice date and be accompanied by a credit return stating the reasons for the return. All the returns must be approved by sales person.
3. Goods must be returned in the condition of sale and in original packaging.
4. All goods returned are subject to a 20% handling charge (minimum $20) plus freight.
5. All Procured, Electrical Parts and Body cuts are non-refundable.
6. Any tampering with electrical parts will void warranty and will not be accepted for credit.
7. Parts procured via Partstrader are non-returnable.
8. All credit accounts are due by 20th of the following month. Failure to pay account oh agreed time will accrue an interest at the rate of 3.5% per month, as well as any collection costs and legal fees, incurred by the Vendor.

WARRANTY POLICY

WARRANTY FOR SECONDHAND ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, TRANSFER CASE, Differentials.

1. USED ENGINE WARRANTY – Long bare engine is only covered under warranty for the duration period agreed at time of sale. Engine is sold as a long bare and all ancillary parts(Starter Motor, Alternator, Distributor, Turbo unit manifolds, exhaust and inlet including carburettor and air cleaner unit, Clutch assembly including pressure plate, Coils, Senders, Switches, Thermostats, Water Pump Assembly, Belts, i.e. Cambelt or Water Pump and Alternator Driving Belt) supplied are for testing purposes only and are not covered under warranty. Oil leaks are not covered under warranty. You must replace all relevant oil seals, timing belt/ timming chain, timing belt tensioners or rollers, water pump. Used engine warranty extends to parts only, labour is not covered. All engines sold on exchange basis.
2. USED TRANSMISSION WARRANTY – Transmission is only covered under warranty for the duration period agreed at time of sale. Transmission is sold as a long bare and all ancillary parts supplied are for testing purposes only and are not covered under warranty. Oil leaks are not covered under warranty. You must replace all relevant oil seals, filters and oil. Used transmission warranty extends to parts only, labour is not covered. All transmissions sold on EXCHANGE basis.
3. USED GEARBOX WARRANTY – Gearbox is only covered under warranty for the duration period agreed at time of sale. Gearbox is sold as a long bare and all ancillary parts supplied are for testing purposes only and are not covered under warranty. Oil leaks are not covered under warranty. We recommend replacing all relevant oil seals, filters and oil Used transmission warranty extends to parts only, labour is not covered. All gearboxes sold on EXCHANGE basis
4. USED DIFF / TRANSFER CASE WARRANTY – Used diff or transfer case is only covered under warranty for the duration period agreed at time of sale. Diff or tranfer case is sold as long bare and all ancillary parts supplied are for testing purposes only and are not covered under warranty.We recommend replacing all relevant oil seals, filters and oil. Used diff or transfer case warranty extends to parts only, labour is not covered.

This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and with the following conditions:

1. The engine must be correctly fitted by a qualified person and must not be subject to abuse, raced, stripped, overheated or modified, altered or used in any way other than the same application intended by the original manufacture.
2. The recipient vehicle must also be as per manufactures original specification.
3. The use of big-bore exhausts will void this warranty.
4. Regular servicing must be done at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals, and the manufacturer’s specified oil grade must be used under this warranty.
5. Our liability is limited to making a replacement, repairing, or refunding purchase price. No claim shall exceed the purchase price.
6. When turbos are fitted, specifications should be as per manufacturer’s specifications.
7. All engines have been drained of fluids, oils etc. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to replace with new product.
   In the unlikely event of a problem with this engine, the claim must be authorized by Korean Parts King management before any repairs commence. Any replacement parts will be deemed to be under the original warranty and period / kms limit. This warranty is not transferable and commences from the time of purchase in case of replacement.

IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM

1.Korean Parts King Nz Ltd must be contacted before any action (work) is carried out and an order number issued.

2. Korean Parts King Nz Ltd will not be liable for the cost of any work carried out without prior approval and order number.
3. Korean Parts King Nz Ltd has the right to personally or by representative, to inspect the engine/trans in the vehicle on site before any work is carried out, this inspection will take place within 5 working days if required.
4. All warranties are null and void if the installed heat tab center is melted or removed.
5. A warranty claim will be accepted if Korean Parts King Nz Ltd Ltd is satisfied that all warranty conditions have been adhered to. If Korean Parts King Nz Ltd Ltd decides that the parts failure is the result of negligence this warranty becomes void.
6. If the part(s) fail, Korean Parts King Nz Ltd Ltd reserves the right to decide whether it will be returned for repair or replaced or refund the part(s) supplied.
7. The maximum claim under the warranty is deemed to be the purchase price of the unit, GST exclusive.
8. Please read invoice sent with warranty form for any additional warranty conditions.
